Marines in Major League Baseball

Of the roughly 21,000 men to have played Major League Baseball, fewer than 100 are known to have also earned the title United States Marine.

This project celebrates the extraordinary intersection of two esteemed American institutions, honoring the men who served their country as Marines and took the field in the Major Leagues. Their service, sacrifice, and stories deserve to be remembered.
